Switching B-Schools

I finished my first full year of MBA Univ. of Houston. I have been researching a lot and found that I may struggle post MBA having attended UH. Recently, I have considered switching to another MBA program, possibly Rice, UT McCombs, or Texas A&M to earn a more targeted MBA.

Have any of you ever done or heard of such a transition? If so, how difficult was the switch as well as credits transfer? Also, do you feel this is a good move? I have another year and a half until I graduate. I figured if I was going to switch, I should do so ASAP.

Also, what are your thoughts on which program to shoot for? Rank these three: Rice, UTx, TxA&M.

Thx

That's what I was assuming. I'm hoping I find some sort of way to make the switch.

Also, if I'm going into S&T, would a MBA or MSFin. be a more valuable?

I'm planning to stay in Houston and work on a commodities floor. I originally chose UH for it's Energy Risk mgmt program, but I'm skeptical now and more worried about the credibility of the MBA.
