Switching Divisions @ Big 4 Firm

Hi All,

I'm a summer intern at one of the Big 4. I want to switch divisions, but not risk losing the FT offer from my current group if they catch wind of my doubts. If I get an offer, should I then try to switch to another division, or should I do it before getting an offer? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Best,

If you accept the offer they most likely wouldn’t approve a transfer before you finish a year, at least that is what I’ve been told/seen.

If you have a coach/counselor you could probably bring it up in a way that you just wanted to understand future career progression/options and get an understand for how transfer process works.

There are internal recruiters generally would also be able to give you background on how the transfer process works.

Hopefully this helps
