Take job with the Corporate Actions team at respected Asset Management company or continue to go for Grad positions?

I'm two years out of university and currently a corporate actions supervisor at an index provider. I've never thought of myself to be good enough for an Asset Management role, just through a lack of confidence, but I have always known if I could overcome this that I have the skill set, work ethic, grades and interest in financial markets to match most other candidates applying for these roles.

In the past year I've overcame this and the competitive side in me has came out and I'm now incredibly motivated to break in. I'm hopefully not too far into my role that I can be pigeon-holed into the ops bracket and have been applying for Grad jobs for a month now. I'm just posting this cause I've been offered a job at a respected Asset Management Company in their Corporate Actions team and don't know whether to accept and move (hopefully furthering my chances to eventually get a move), or stay at my current role and put full effort into applying for Grad positions. I could obviously move and still apply for grad positions but I would probably put more of my attention on succeeding at the new role as I don't really want a broken CV with lots of different jobs by the time I'm 26.

Basically has anyone any experience of working in a corporate actions role at an asset management firm and did you feel it was either a valuable use of your time, or valuable in helping you secure your next move?
