Taking a public company private - shareholder structure
Hi all,
I am currently thinking about the best ownership/shareholder structures for taking a public company private by means of an LBO.
What are key success factors in terms of the ownership/shareholder structure to successfully conduct a take private? I.e., should the shareholder structure rather be diffuse/diversified or concentrated? Rather institutional, strategic or management shareholders? What is favorable?
Looking forward to your thoughts.
