Taking a withdraw as an undergrad?
For context, I'm a freshman at Stern planning on spending 2 semesters abroad (means the credits that count towards my GPA drop from 128 to ~100)
Really debating taking a W instead of the grade (B) in one of my classes. Because of covid, if I take the W I'll be able to take two easy A summer classes for free. I'm confident that I could get an A instead of a B in this course next semester once I'm on campus.
Should I take the W and protect my GPA/take advantage of the two free summer courses or just take the B and move on?
Curious to hear what you ended up doing. If you chose to withdraw, has it affected you in any way down the line? In a similar position now.
