Talking about an early stage deal in interviews?

One of my deals on my CV is super early stage. We are essentially still in pre marketing phase however a lot of work has already been done and the reason why I put it on my CV is that two of the companies I’m interviewing with have made similar investments in the same space and a lot of investors and corporates are also looking into the same space.

While I could talk about the company, the deal and the sector and why I think it would be a good or bad investment, I’m worried about the deal being super early and I currently do not have the detailed info to a lot of things, e.g. detailed valuation numbers (which my team is not doing anyways). I plan on talking about this deal with the big caveat that it’s early stage but a good amount of work has been done and I have a good understanding of the deal . Based on my experience, interviewers seem to not ask about nitty gritty of a deal (maybe I got lucky) and they tend to care about investment rationale and what I have done on the deal.

Any tips and thoughts? Thanks!
