Tech Banking / Tech Industry Knowledge

Hi guys,

So I'm interested in banking and finance but have also heard a lot about the tech banking scene in the west coast. As of right now, I don't really understand the tech industry that well and was wondering if there were any good resources that I could use to gain more industry knowledge. Any books, podcasts, newsletters, articles would be nice. I've also read that in tech coverage groups they'll ask you about the industry and trends, and I was wondering how well you're expected to know the industry or products. For example, how in-depth are candidates expected to know how AI works and the really technical things like that. I was just hoping to gain more knowledge on the tech industry as a whole and was wondering if anyone could share resources or ways they've learned about the tech industry.

Thanks
