I currently work in finance at a large tech firm (FAANG), focusing on biz dev/digital media. In b-school I considered banking andbut for personal reasons decided to not go that route. Now, I'm regretting the decision to not do banking and am wondering if it's too late. If not banking, my hope is to get into "real" finance role in NYC (actual investment and research).
Has anyone here made the jump from tech finance? It's hard to gauge what the exit opps are since so few leave my firm.
