Thank You Notes - First round ER associate interview
I just interviewed yesterday (first time for any job, ever) and not sure what the protocal is - should I send in a thank you note to the interviewers? Was a first round ER associate interview. They seemed to have a pretty laid back attitude (the MD was literally wearing a plaid shirt and blue jeans), so I kind of suspect a thank you email might come off as too needy. But at the same time, based on what they said the place sounds like a perfect fit for me.
TLD: First round interview - send thank you's or no?
There's some debate, but my standard protocol is a thank you email shortly after. Written notes can viewed as little awkward by some. And you do it quickly because most hiring decisions are made shortly after an interview.
