Thanks - Semi/non-target and didn't have an internship with any banks
Hey everyone,
I just wanted to say thanks for all the help that was given on this website. I am coming from a semi/non-target and I didn't have an internship with ANY bank (Big 4 audit was my internship) and I received a FT offer with a MM bank (think HW, Baird, Blair, HL, Jefferies).
I couldn't have done it without the help of everyone on this forum, through reading other people's experiences and the like.
Best of luck to everyone else in their pursuit of jobs this year, I am with you in understanding how damn difficult it is.
What type of recruiting process did you go through?
Formal recruiting. I networked to get informational interviews and then converted those into fulltime interviews.
