An alum who is the global head of real estate ibanking for a BB came to my school for an info session and said his friend wrote this book. Additionally, he found it to be spot on so take that for what it's worth.

fiasco is a great read. it also provides great insight to derivatives and what they are capable of (un)doing. i enjoyed it alot, but i work in structured finance, so i have a slight bias. if you've ever heard someone talk about "ripping someone's face off" the book uses the phrase alot.

Thanks for the comments guys.

I began reading the AIB, and while it's a good read, if you've been in the industry for more than a couple of years it's old-stuff. The sarcasm, at times, is quite good and will make you chuckle... but net-net the book can drag at times if you've been in the business for while, like I said. (NOTE - I'm only 40 pages deep).
