The Back Office Strikes Back

Ladies and Gentlemen it is time for a very important issue to be brought up! It is time for the BO to get the glory it deserves!! I work in a BO role at a big bank and I shall convince you it is better than your job...

Here are some of the many perks:

- 40-50 hours a week. NEVER more.

- 70k a year starting salary which pays for a lovely studio apartment in the best city in the world. And I actually use it.

- Back home, I get to drive a LUXURIOUS Toyota Camry. On the weekends when I am feeling a bit more fuel efficient, I let the Corolla come out to play.

- On the weekends, I sometimes eat Cheetos off my stomach while watching netflix. On my free time I am also learning a new language, maybe i'll play an instrument too, and i'm learning how to cook. I made delicious hotpockets this morning.

-EXIT OPS include:

- Staying in the same field forever (but work is work... oh well).

- Being a good father once you decide to make some babies.

- Using my twenties.

- and of course driving the luxurious cars mentioned above.

I am sure by now you are saying to yourself:
ALL OF THIS SOUNDS NICE, BUT I MAKE WAY MORE MONEY THAN THIS LOSER...
Do you? Lettuce have a look below:

You: $150,000, in 100 hours a week. RESULT: $28.84/hour
BO: $70,000 in 45 hours a week. RESULT: $29.91/hour

Ouch.

Disclaimer: this is obviously a joke but what I am trying to say is... work isn't everything

Next time you post a joke, can you make it funny? Thanks.
