IME HR interviews are fairly relaxed and are more behavioural based. The few that I've done consisted of me walking through my resume, where I went to school, miscellaneous stuff about my hobbies, and just general shooting the shit.

On a side note - I find it super odd that you're having an HR interview after 3 standard interviews with bankers since usually HR interviews come before what you'd consider a "first round" to make sure you're actually sociable.

If at the beginning of the process, it’s a few block-and-tackle cultural / behavioral questions and a list of the (exact same) techs to check the “vaguely competent” box. They’re essentially just doing the same questioning as a banker would, just at a slightly lower per-hour cost.

If at the end, it’s more procedural.

HR interviews tend to be behavioral with some logistics questions (ex. start and end dates, competing deadlines). At Firm A, my HR interview was entirely behavioral with situation-based questions and we discussed the staffing process. At Firm B, my HR interviewer was very nosy about my other processes. I described the groups/firms that I had offers from but did not reveal their exact names, but she kept asking follow-up questions and was trying to see who they were competing with. This took up like half of the interview lol. Eventually got annoyed and asked why I wouldn't tell her the names. Told her that I did not feel comfortable sharing that type of information and had already been quite specific, and I wanted to be respectful of the other firms as well. Definitely the strangest and most aggressive HR interview I've had and made me realize that I didn't want to work for them. Anyways, would be wise to prepare for these types of qs in case.
