The Manchurian Candidate

What would be the ABSOLUTE IDEAL candidate for one of these top prop firms (Jane Street, FNYS, Optiver, etc.) ? Particular school, particular internships (and if so, what department), desired majors, particular activities (like winning a trading contest, or being a successful poker player) etc. ?

Also, what is the general hiring season for the top prop firms ? Do they hire year-round, or is it more concentrated in the Fall like BB's ?

And one last question: Is there any special resume format that these shops prefer in contrast to an IBD resume ? Like, should I focus less on my summer analyst position at a BB and more on smaller, trading-oriented achievements, like having won a trading contest at my school ?
