Business schools don't exist to improve the economy, the performance of companies, or "the science of management". They exist to improve the career prospects of their graduates. Everything else is self-serving b.s.
Should be mentioned that the author (Dan) himself has a well-pedigreed background: Harvard Undergrad, Stanford MBA, Bain Capital, and Bridgewater - before anyone flips out calling this a hit piece on traditional target b-school grads.
B school produces managers not leaders.
