The Top 10 Tech Skills You Need Right Now

“Companies are hiring engineers and not liberal arts majors."

As the title states, companies want people who are more technologically adept. In all fairness, liberal arts majors are not completely useless (I.e. economics), but in this technological world, people with more technology based majors and more technical skills are getting jobs.
If you have tech skills, do not be afraid to show it off. It will be one of your competitive advantages.

Your tech skills should be conveyed throughout your résumé; showcase any projects completed and innovative ideas implemented, says Klein. “The traditional Skills section at the bottom should not be the only placeholder,” she adds.

Now for the top ten tech skill list according to this article:
Excel
PowerPoint
Word
SQL
Java (backend development)
Python (backend development)
Javascript (front end)

Some of the tech skills on the list is pretty obvious, but, still, this list has great skills that people can learn.
What do you think of these tech skills? Which ones do you know? Which ones do you need to learn? What other tech skills are important but are not mentioned on this list?
