The World is my Rocky Mountain Oyster

I have an upcoming trip to Denver, will have a few nights free and figured I would see what was going on. Any CO monkeys have any food/bar/nightlife advice for someone who's never been to the mile high city?

Been a couple of times but can't speak to th true club scene downtown. Casual late night drinks and food around Union Station and drinks around the ball park after a game.

26 Broadway where's your sense of humor?

Check out Colfax by Capitol Hill, you can always find some homeless shooting up heroin on the capital's steps.

In all seriousness, I never found Denver to be much of a night life city, except the gay clubs. Tracks is really your best bet for that. If you're uncomfortable with that just head to Coors field, that's the most concentrated nightlife area.

Denver is all about the hipster-ish crowd. Hit up a few of the breweries in your best flannel and check out the cheese bars. Chipotle was founded in denver, and the whole industrial-trying-too-hard-to-be-relaxed vibe is everywhere. Just buy some weed, don your patagonia jacket, grab a brew, and play a game of cornhole that seems to be at every bar.

Places to eat/drink -STK - Urban Farmer - Ocean Prime - Larimer Square Bars - Anywhere on Larimer Square - Thirsty Lion - Anywhere in Cherry Creek

Nightlife -Denver has a younger scene, not much upscale nightlife -Temple is a fun club ... club chain from San Fran that just moved out here - Nativ - A club downtown -Beta - A club downtown - AVOID

Hope this helps

I'd recommend spending some time in cherry creek or Larimer Square or by Union Station. Larimer Square and Union are walking distance from each other downtown... Cherry Creek is a 10 min uber ride.
