Why was he arguing with random followers to a point where he's obviously insulting them. It was a no win situation...He lost weight and posted a picture, be like a normal celebrity and don't respond to haters.

All of the criticisms boil down to one thing- he didn't think about it. And that's because the mechanism of tweeting is designed to short-circuit reflection and restraint. Very few things of great value can be expressed in 140 characters or less...

Everything is a competition to see who can get the most offended or be the biggest victim.

He got fired for going off in a distasteful way on a public forum. The people who got butt hurt over Thinspiration are a joke though.

Why this rich individual would get into an argument with idiots on IG is beyond me. You truly don't care what people say when you just ignore them. He should have done the same.

I like Adam Richman and think his shows are funny. I'm about as non-PC as they come but he most likely got in trouble for the responses rather than the original comment. Celebs and athletes should have breathalyzers on their computers.

The woman pictured in that article shouldn't be encouraging ANYONE to be "ok" with their body at that weight, not because she's overweight, but because that kind of lifestyle is immeasurably unhealthy.

I don't agree with what Adam Richman said and I think he handled it incredibly poorly, but to be frank, encouraging people to be accepting of body types like the woman who initially called him out is not only dishonest, it's downright dangerous. That woman is on the fast track to heart disease, quadruple bypass surgery, and an early entrance to the grave.

I literally never encounter people like this. I am starting to believe they don't exist. Like if someone was this sensitive in real life they would HAVE to be a social recluse.

I mean I get we should be nice to people, but this food guy who eats ass loads of shit loses weight and is proud of it. And of course, some miserable fuck has to shit on his accomplishment. Plain fact is some people might be husky because of genetics, but no one is fat because of genetics. You are fat because you take in too many calories and don't expend enough. Simple arithmetic. Being overweight causes all kinds of medical issues and now that we all have to subsidize unhealthy fuckers this message should be loud and clear.

A friend and I talk about this all the time. People become "insulted" WAY to easily. It's disgusting how quickly and irrationally someone will rip you head off because someone thinks you said/wrote/did something that deeply "offended" them.

Grow some skin people. Don't like what I said? That's fine, you have a right to disagree me with. You don't have a right to berated with your garbage and tell me how morally wrong I am.

It's one of the biggest problems with society today. No one has any skin anymore.
