Thomson Reuters Eikon vs. Factset for Private Company Data

I am currently an analyst for a small foundation in the south. We invest across all asset classes but I am mostly focused on private companies as well as PE/VC funds. We are looking to upgrade our research capabilities while also being cost-effective. We have landed between Eikon and Factset but I have never used either for private company research or fund selection. So my main question is, which is best for private company research purposes? I know that their public info will be adequate in both cases so that isn't really a consideration at this point. Any and all input is welcomed.
