She's smart and competent, between her and Brainard I think people would be equally happy. Flexible and willing to adapt, leans a little more hawkish wrt the national debt but nothing crazy. Fits into the Biden admin's goal of being a unifying admin, she should be popular across partisan lines.

 

Agreed - so far it seems that all of these cabinet picks are highly competent and for the most part very much “center left,” if not overtly centrist. Feel like it’s hard to be upset with any of these from the right side of the aisle given the direction he could’ve gone (and especially when compared to the comical Fox News graphics projecting Bernie, Warren, Pete, and Yang to be the top cabinet members).
