Any idea of bonus structure in comparison to other groups?

PA or NYC? Don't know too much about NYC but not a top group there from what I understand. Mostly media comms in that office versus mostly tech in PA. PA is definitely a growing group. Are you interested mostly in deal flow, culture, comp, exits? Deal flow is solid but definitely a clear cut below the top tech groups. Culture is good - you will work hard of course but friendly and helpful from my limited interactions. I'd guess comp is in line with most other BBs, although there's the recent news of a bump in base at bofa to match most EBs (doubt bonus will be adjusted though). Exits are varied but good. Don't see many exits to top buyout/growth or vc funds but still solid exits all around. Can go over any of these points in more detail to the best of my knowledge if you would like.

Gotcha thanks! I was referring to NYC culture/dealflow/exits. Heard deal volume & clientele have increased a bit over the past couple years, and was curious to see to what extent. If you have any insight into popular exits and where you would lateral to given the chance (with emphasis on culture/lifestyle), greatly appreciated.

Anything on the PA office? In particular software (I do mostly software now so want to stick with that)? Culture, comp, long term career trajectory, WLB, pitching vs. execution. Less worried about exits given I want to stay in banking but even corp dev probably fine coming out of the coverage group. Feel like with the M&A team there, lifestyle has to be a little better than doing everything in house.

NYC? Has the group taken heavy losses or is it something they can bounce back from? In your opinion

All 3 rainmakers were based in BofA Palo Alto and will be leaving to join CVP Palo Alto. B/S BBs like BofA tend to be more resilient to senior attrition b/c they have lending capabilities (seems like Salesforce has hired them on several occasions), but 3 very senior bankers (inc co-head of tech IB) leaving to join a competitor is obviously not ideal
