Thoughts on McKinsey Digital Labs?

Hi all,

I'm strongly considering taking an offer with McKinsey Digital Labs as an Agile Analyst. I was wondering if any of y'all could speak to the quality/perception/prestige/exit ops of the practice overall and my role within it. So far it seems like the recruiting process for undergrad hires like me may be more rigorous. The firm also seems to be less keen on sponsoring Digital Analysts for MBAs.

A bit about the role: It sounds like it will involve driving a lot of digital transformations, Agile coaching, and product ownership for minimum viable products. I've heard that it is often fewer hours of work than general roles. It sounds like it will be possible to get staffed at some generalist engagements and some Digital engagements outside of the Agile group, but that I'm expected to major within the group.

A bit about me: I'm a CS and business major at a top 20ish school. I worked as a software engineer intern for 2 summers and as a tech consulting intern at PwC last summer. I'm likely interested in going to business school. Most interested in having a business career in tech, but could be interested in lots of different paths within tech like product management, venture capital, corporate/product strategy, etc. Long term interest in the social change + non profits space.

I've been recruiting for a while, with a various levels of progress from PM and consulting roles. I could keep recruiting with some tech firms for PM positions, but I'm leaning towards taking this McK Digital offer as it expires early next week. Just wanted to be more aware of the impression of the practice/what I'd be getting into.
