Thoughts on this Tissot watch?
I'm going into an FT BB role soon and want to buy a watch, is this a good entry level one? http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B000HDCF7G/ref=gno_cart_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2L6K6EWTJ8X2N

I would personally never spend more than 200$ for a quartz watch. Save some money (500-600$) so that you can afford a mecanic-automatic watch with high quality/price ratio (Hamilton, Tissot...)
FT BB ... If I were you I wouldn't even think about 200$ watches.
At this price point you should look into one of Orient's lower-end automatics. Very often deeply discounted as well.

And just FYI so you know, 34mm case is extremely small by today's standards. That's the size of watch your grandfather / mom probably wears.
Don't mean to keep beating the horse, but just came across this watch up for sale and thought I'd drop it here: Unfortunately black dial instead of the white OP posted.

Literally no one gives a shit about what watch you wear... get something you want
Just get an Omega and be done with it.

You can't really go wrong with a Tissot as an analyst. Good entry luxury level watch. Not too cheap, not too expensive. Sure it's not a INC or a Patek, but it's a respectable watch for the price range.
I'd get a Tissot but I wouldn't get the one that OP posted because the dial is a little small. I'd lean towards a black leather band Tissot with a ~42mm dial.
