Threatened with redundancy
Has anyone been threatened with redundancy if they didn’t do something? How did you deal with it? In my case I have been working in the US with the same Bank for 15yrs and was forced to localize a few years ago. As a result I have built roots here. Now I am being warned I will be made redundant if I don’t move from the US to our offices in Australia. I’m wondering also; while Banks have every right to have a role located wherever they see fit are they breaking any laws by coercing employees to move?
