Tim Thomas disrespects Obama

WSO,

Did anyone else read this and had a "fuck yeah" moment. Apparently he put this statement on his Facebook:

"I believe the Federal government has grown out of control, threatening the Rights, Liberties, and Property of the People. This is being done at the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial level. This is in direct opposition to the Constitution and the Founding Fathers vision for the Federal government. Because I believe this, today I exercised my right as a Free Citizen, and did not visit the White House. This was not about politics or party, as in my opinion both parties are responsible for the situation we are in as a country. This was about a choice I had to make as an INDIVIDUAL. This is the only public statement I will be making on this topic. TT "

Couldn't agree more, the U.S Government is becoming a threat to the Constitution of this great country. Passing bills like the Patriots Act, NDAA and now SOPA and PIPA (which will probably pass with few tweaks). Fear has really fucked the Dems and GOP over.

Brady4MVP:
What a great American. Obama is one of the most lawless and dangerous presidents in American history.

It seems pretty clear to me that this wasn't directed specifically at Obama, rather the federal government as a whole (he specifically states both parties are at fault). Read into it whatever you want, I guess.

I personally think denying a presidential invite is a pretty dumb way to make a political statement.

"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God. Bloody Mary full of vodka, blessed are you among cocktails. Pray for me now and at the hour of my death, which I hope is soon. Amen."

FinancialNoviceII:
I commend him for taking his stand and for sticking to his principles but seriously, who will give a shit what Tim Thomas thought? He's not even in the league anymore that he might get some national TV attention.

What do you mean he's not in the league anymore? Just watched him play against the Flyers the other night.

Sorry guys, I was thinking of someone else completely, the NBA player. The Mavs visited the White House recently and he was playing for them last year. I'm an idiot.

well even THAT Tim Thomas in still in the league
