Is This Acceptable in Modeling Tests?
Are the below practices acceptable in timed modeling LBO exams? The purpose of the below would be to save time. Any other tricks to improve speed are very welcome!
- If you're building a model from scratch, is it acceptable to use small caps only in the excel?
- If you have to manually type historical financials from 10K, is it acceptable to round to the nearest ~1mm (rather than typing out precise numbers from 10K)?
Bump
First point, maybe.
Second, hell no.
I agree with the above. You cannot round numbers, just copy paste them or type manually
