Time to Buy the Market?
The market has been at all times high and has exponential growth since the US presidential election. The S&P 500 increased by 20%, The Dow Jones Industrial increased by 25% and the Nasdaq has increased by 27%. This mainly due to a strengthing economy and President Trump wants to continue this by his new tax reform. According to this article https://finance.yahoo.com/news/trump-tax-reform-w…. He said: “if Congress gives us the massive tax cuts (and reform) I am asking for, those numbers will grow by leaps and bounds.”
Can we see even more exponential growth from the market? Or will this tax reform if passed cause a slowdown of the economy?
I can't possibly see how lower taxes would hurt the economy, but one hast to have reasonable expectations...there's only so much growth to be had...and I really don't think endless share price appreciation in light of many other factors is necessarily a good thing...
Unless regulation tightens on wire-houses, a tax cut would definitely benefit most domestic indexes. However you should probably be aware that POTUS just rambles without realizing what he's actually saying. He can promise the fucking moon to the middle class but that doesn't mean the tax reform isn't going come in the form of lower corporate tax rates & capital gains rates while keeping the income tax brackets the same.
