To do a dual degree in Global Economics and Finance or not?
I'm doing first year in University of Western Ontario, and currently I have a chance to do a dual degree with Richard Ivey Business School HBA (Finance). I'm thinking about taking Global Economics as my second major, but hesitating because I don't really know how well can Global Economics help with my Finance major. I'm most interested in stocks and options, IB is also a good choice for my future career path. Will my future employers care about this dual degree? Can you guys give me any advices about this?
unless you have already gotten into ivey (which you haven't) you should not be making plans assuming that you do focus on whatever major interests you if and when you get into ivey's business program, then maybe worry about it
