Too bluish for office?

By the way, I'm looking for a slim fit / italian cut >65% wool suit (with trousers, navy or grey) for under $300 (then I'll spend +50-70 in tailoring), but I can't seem to find a decent one, and BB, TML, CT and all these brands exceed my budget. I'm considering other brands like, Zara, Express, Indochino, but still not sure about their quality....
And what do you think of 100% linen suits? is it too casual?
That suit is on the edge, culture dependent, linen is too casual.
Too blue for me for my taste. It also depends on your skin color, if you were too tan, it might not look good.
The color is a little light but still acceptable, but the double pockets just look... off. There's always a reason a designer-made-in-italy suit is selling for $230.
Save yourself the hassle, go to JC Penney, and pick out four 100% wool Stafford suits for $170 each.
The color is fine, not sure about the working button holes though. It's going to be difficult to alter sleeve length if it doesn't fit quite right. Go with 100% wool for sure, there are probably options even in your price range. Blends always seem to look weird and unnatural, and don't breath very well.
Here's what I would say are key to look for in an inexpensive starter suit, whatever the brand may be:
Linen suits are sick, but I wouldn't invest in one until you have more essentials.
That is a nice suit, if you wore it with the red accent, dammmmmn!

Indochino is good quality IMO.
1) The color is fine for the office. 2) Linen suits are not fine for the office. 3) Buy that suit if you want, but don't look at the "savings" Amazon calculates. That "brand" is a cheap imitator of the Brioni brand and has no connection to the real thing. To pretend that you are actually saving the difference between what that costs and what a Brioni does is ludicrous. 4) You're better off going to some department stores, finding brands that fit you best, then searching for sales/coupons if that really is your budget.
Indochino is your friend.
Go to Macys and buy the Alfani Red Suits in Navy, charcoal, grey and black for $199 100% wool and get it tailored. They have slim fits which are great.
Stay away from that brand. It is a known knock-off. On ebay there's one guy who sells B. Brioni and only B. Brioni ... catch is, it's Bianca Brioni ... not the $4000-6000 Brioni Italian suits Big Law and Wall St. execs are known for.
The color isn't inappropriate for the office, but that's an Asian knock-off of an Italian mainstay. The functional buttonholes are disastrous, the lapels are notched oddly, the ticket pocket isn't in line with the main pocket, and the button stance is awful.
It's a cheap imitation at best, and sadly, because of the quality of the pictures online, they swindle people into purchasing them.
