Top Reporting Shops

Hey everyone! Just wanted to quickly run this by the monkey community. Little bit about me, Masters in Economics (MA), one year in front-office IBD at a micro-boutique shop. I am currently at a top reporting/control shop and have been there for a little over a year. I was recently promoted to Associate and managed a team of two interns over the summer (so I have some management experience). Anyway, having worked a year in M&A (front office) and a year at a top control shop, I have come to realize that I greatly prefer Reporting to M&A (I know, I know...). My question to everyone is, what are the most elite reporting shops on the street (please judge on level data quality issues, quality of project management staff, types of controls, and overall developmental path for junior level staff). With that being said, what is a good path for me to move in to front-office reporting in the near future?

And just to clarify, by control/reporting shop I mean like reporting teams within Bulge Bracket banks.

Thanks everyone for your help!

I hear that JPM and GS are really big in this. They have whole floors dedicated to people who do nothing just make reports. Send me a PM and I can get you in touch with some really high up senior associates there that I met while interning. trust me man, a roll like this isn't easy to get.

Yes, I think this is more in-line with that I am looking for. What reporting groups across all banks are considered "elite" and which firms have the most prestigious reporting groups as a whole?
