Top Tier PM Group vs MM S&T

Hi guys,

I would love to hear your opinion on that matter. I have to decide between a MM DCM offer and Top Tier (think BlackRock/PIMCO) Portfolio Management offer. My ultimate end goal is IBD/PE, but I have a few more summers to do internships. I would enjoy PM more since I think it is more interesting work, but on the other side fixed income is not very relevant for IBD/PE down the line. What do you think is more relevant? The PM offer has more prestige than the MM bank, but I don´t know if that offsets the less relevant work.

I am happy about insights from more experienced guys, how would bankers look at those experience differently for recruiting?

Thanks in advance.
