Top tier SF vs. Mid Tier NY Groups?
What are your guys' thoughts on JPM SF HC/Tech vs. NY top group (M&A/FSG/LevFin) at mid-tier BB (CS/BAML)? For full-time position, mainly from exit opp perspective. thanks

I think it's pretty simple. If you are sure you want to be in SF / west coast, go to SF. If you are not sure, New York will give you more optionality -- you'll have a more diverse set of exit opportunities and will have more geographic flexibility (easier to go from New York --> SF than the other way around).
Also, the difference in 'prestige' is not that significant between CS/BAML and JPM, so that wouldn't be a deciding factor for me if I were in your position.
Best of luck!
Thanks! And would PE placement be pretty comparable across the two groups or would one have a slight edge? For SF office vs. NY office
If you want to be on the west coast then take the JPM. Also choose based on what group interests you more.
