Top Asset management firms in Toronto
Please can anyone recommend any top asset management firms in Toronto worth working for? I will be going for a Co-op term in Fall 2018.
I don't care about the pay that much. i just want to learn as much as possible.
Fidelity, CI (Cambridge, Signature, Sentry, Black Creek), Gluskin, Dynamic, Burgundy, Turtle Creek come to mind
I would add Greystone Managed Investments as well. I think they have an alternative investments and real estate co-op in TO.

I'm currently about to wrap up my 2nd year as an analyst at one of the big 5 Canadian investment banks. I work in one of the top teams for my coverage area in Toronto.
I'm currently looking at what my exit opportunities could be, however.
One on the one hand, a lot of my colleagues seem interested in PE at some of the large shops (Onex, Birchhill...) or the pension funds (OTPP, CPPIB, CDPQ). There is a lot of information out there already on these opportunities.
On the other hand, I'm beginning to be more interested in traditional AM. I was wondering what some of the tops shops in Toronto are. Some of the ones I'm aware of are Burgundy, Mawer, CI (Signature/Cambridge), and Jarislowsky Fraser.
Do any of you monkeys know what the recruiting process and comp/lifestyle are for these sorts of places?
