OP - TPG hired mostly from GS this year, but not all as far as I know.

 

Not all GS but a large number. Most top analysts from other groups had already signed offers last spring, the ones who held out for megafunds either couldn't get good offers or (what I believe was the case for GS) were not allowed to recruit before then.
