Trading in Toronto

I plan on moving to Toronto and I'm trying to learn where most trading floors typically do their hiring. Do the major banks/other prop-shops recruit out of MBA programs such as Rotman, Ivey, etc.; do they recruit at US business schools (not sure how this would work); or do they prefer ex-Wall Street candidates?

Any information would be helpful.

Macro Arbitrage:
Shoot me a PM and we can chat. Most Canadian banks did not hire anyone into s&t this year, and those that did almost exclusive poached Rotman and Ivey MBA grads.

Thanks for the information. Just sent you a message.

It is very very competitive. I had a first round for rbccm's global markets rotation. I was told that it was something like over 3K resumes. 100 first rounds. 20 superdays. 8 offers. The numbers couldn't have been too much different at the other big5 banks. The BBs have very small trading operations here from what I know.

Was that for undergrad or MBA recruitment?
