Transfer to NYC office vs Toronto

I work at an American BB satellite in Toronto and was offered a transfer to their NYC office. I wanted to know if it’s worth it discounting the exit opportunities. How much money will I see in my in my account after a couple years? Toronto has some very solid PE funds like Brookfield and Altas.

To be it's a no brainer that you transfer to NYC if visa is not an issue. Why? From a career progression standpoint, you prob know better how a typical Canadian transaction (with US financing or M&A) is staffed across the Toronto satellite office and NYC, and your resulting exposure to different aspects of a deal.

Keep your perspectives a bit longer than "a couple of years", and a bit wider than "how much money in your account".
