Traveling between jobs

Just received a job offer to make a lateral move - how much of a break should I ask for between jobs? I'm thinking 3 weeks.

Trying to decide where I want to go...Buenos Aires, Thailand, Tanzania...leaning towards BA because its so cliche now but who knows. Just need to go somewhere where I can refresh myself before starting the new gig. Thoughts?

Back to work, dont you want to get paid?

Still not sure if I want to spend the next 30+ years grinding away in corporate finance and the WSO dream chase or look to have enough passive income to live simply and work minimally.

I figure I can't take off 1-2 weeks for vacation while on the job, so this is my only chance to take a break. 1-2 weeks without a paycheck is well worth it. I know this makes me sound like a pussy but I don't want to get burnt out. What do people normally do between jobs when they have some time?
