Trouble sleeping?
Been sleeping 4/5am on the reg. These last few days i been waking up around 8/9am before my alarms, feeling wide awake and cant go back to sleep
Is this an issue
I’ve also been taking some midday/evening naps
Also been working out regularly recently
I suffered a similar problem. I would get to bed by midnight, wouldnt really fall asleep until 1am and then I would wake up through the night multiple times. I found that I was drinking way too much caffeine through the day and was also just stressed out in general. My apartment has a sauna so before I try to sleep I sit in the sauna for about 15 minutes and try to chill tf out so I can stay asleep through the night. It's been working for me recently
dude i actually have steambath and sauna in the clubhouse toilet at my condo i might try that
thanks!
It is almost guaranteed to be related to your caffeine intake. The sauna will help but try to significantly reduce the amount your are consuming at night.
Check your caffeine intake, limit screen time before bed, and work out in the morning vs at night
Turn the brightness on your phone down and switch to “warm” light or whatever it’s called
also, half dosage of melatonin as needed
I'm very bad at getting to sleep and have tried just about everything. Here's what helps me: 1) I put on blue light-blocking glasses about 60-90 minutes before I plan to go to bed, and also have my screens set to turn to "warm" colors in the evening. 2) ~1.5mg of melatonin before bed. 3) try not to look at a screen in bed, but inevitably end up checking email or shitposting on WSO, so I make sure to have my brightness all the way down, warm colors, and the glasses on. 4) will sound crazy to some, but I don't drink any caffeine during the day. I have ~250-300mg immediately when I wake up prior to the gym, this is usually somewhere between 5-5:45am. 5) probably excessive, but I supplement with ZMA as well before bed, which is a combo of zinc/magnesium/B6 thought to improve sleep quality.
Worst case scenario, a few benadryl will knock you tf out.
I've always had trouble sleeping consistently. I usually wake up 5-7 times per night. Sleeping by midnight, up at 6:30. At least two or three times per week I will wake up at some point between 3:30 and 4:15 and not get back to sleep until around 5. All and all the sleep patterns of champions.
Another option instead of melatonin is weed. I've had bad insomnia at times and tried melatonin, hydroxyzine, Benadryl, etc. They all make me feel groggy as shit the next day. A couple hits of a nice high CBD/low THC pen will put you to sleep and actually have you feeling good the next day
feel that. took 30 mg’s of addy yesterday. On the bright side i still feel wired 24 hours later
honestly weed or some night cold medicine usually does the trick
