Turning 2 Bloomberg back tests into one long-short algorithm
Hello,
So i have two Bloomberg terminal backtests one long and one short. Both on there own have market beating returns. (Long averages 30% gain per year over 14 year period). So naturally i want to combine them into a algorithm that then adds a bit more. A classic long-short. I have been trying to do so on Quantopian but come to the realization that being a relatively amateur coder writing a code combining both with the other couple items i want to add is a bit much. Is there a simpler way to combine the two?
Plus Quantopian as great as it is does not currently have everything i need to completely replicate them and so they wouldn't quite be the same.
If there is a better fitting forum besides the "Hedge Fund Forum" i can place this on please let me know.
My Regards
