UBS DCM v DB Industrials
2 offers:
- UBS DCM Group - NY
- DB Industrials Group - NY
Both are for SA placements, mainly concern with exit opps. Also, i was wondering if I join the DCM team with UBS, will it be easy for me to transfer to coverage groups (within UBS or other banks) for FT placement?
Thanks
db > ubs industrials > dcm
should be an easy choice.
Neither of these will lead to spectacular exit opps. If you want PE, get that FT offer at DB and shop it around.
DB Industrials 100% UBS DCM 0%
When you are shopping around with a FT offer (for a product group like ECM/DCM) on hand, how easy it is to "sell" the experience you had over the summer to another rival bank's industry groups (ie. industrials/FIG)? Do bankers evaluate capital markets' experience vs coverage groups experience very differently? Will that be a disadvantage?
