UBS PWM analyst Super day
Hi all, I have a super day next week with a PWM group at UBS. The interview is for an entry level analyst position. The point of contact said be prepared for the interview to last about 5 hours. This is my first "super day" of this type and was hoping that some of the experienced people on here could give me some advice about super days in general and more specifically super days for PWM analyst positions (there isn't too much info on here for PWM).
I figured in order to prepare I should be updated on the markets, know where each asset class stands, and forecasts for the major indices. In addition I figured to go over behavioral M&I guide. I was wondering if anyone knew how technical these interviews get compared to IBD? I know going over general accounting/valuation calculations would be helpful, but I wasn't sure if this time might be better allocated elsewhere.
Again, any advice would help. Thanks in advance.
Not sure if this would help, but they manage ~4 bill and have a team of 4 partners with a few analysts
Significantly less technical than an IBD interview. Be prepared with a stock pitch. The preparation you mentioned should be great. Since the interview will be less technical prepare some STAR stories for the behavioral questions asked.
Appreciate the help. I was thinking one short, one long? Most of the advice I've seen has said to stay away from large cap in case they research/cover the company so you don't get roasted
