UC San Diego transfer to NYU????
Currently a Junior at UC San Diego Majoring in Economics I understand UC San Diego isn't a target school and I am serious about securing a job in the Investment Banking field even if it means an extra year of school. Would anyone recommend transferring to NYU as a junior???
(By doing so I would be extending my schooling by a year since NYU only expects Junior transfers.)
if you can get into stern yes but it's not very transfer friendly. better to target michigan ross, uva mcintire, usc marshall, berkeley haas, ucla anderson. assuming you'd get in state tuition at ucla/berkeley, those are no brainers
Transferring within UCs is almost impossible. Almost all of their transfers come from California community colleges.
20%+ acceptance rates as shown here (http://transferweb.com/stats/transfer-acceptance-rates/#.WePFfGiPI2w). i find it hard to believe all of the transfer come from CCs
Thank you for that link very useful.
