The LA offices of MBB all recruit at UCLA, but even in those offices the representation of MBAs from schools like HBS, Stanford, Kellogg and Wharton dwarf UCLA. It doesn't help that the LA offices for all three firms are relatively small compared to other major metropolitan areas, and also a destination for consultants seeking nicer weather. It's not impossible for UCLA kids, it's just a lot harder.
Sorry, double-posted...
My interviewer at an MBB this year was an Anderson grad (Yale undergrad). From what I know, there were a couple other Anderson MBAs in the LA office. So, as usual, redninja got it right.
The dude who won the first apprentice was a UCLA JD/MBA (West Point UG)
Anderson is a good program, but it has not traditionally had a strong recruiting presence with McKinsey, Bain, and BCG.
