UnderGrad: Cornell VS Duke VS Columbia VS Yale VS NYU VS GeorgieTech

Hi guys! I still havent decided which one would the best suit for a STEM majored(mostly Statistics or FinancialEngineering) IB-placement. I was thinking about Columbia as it would be the closest to home but what are your thoughts on these Universities? If given a chance, how would you give your preferences for the following:
Columbia, Yale, Cornell, Duke, NYU, GeorgiaTech.

Yale > Columbia > Duke > Cornell > NYU (stern) > GTech would be my preference. Don't worry about this stuff until you actually get acceptances. Plus please don't accept a university solely on IB recruiting! If a "lesser" target fits your personality then take it over the marginally better university.

Once you get in, I'd rank: Columbia > Yale > Cornell > NYU - assuming you applied to Stern > Duke > GeorgiaTech

I am biased towards location hence Columbia, and prevelence hence Cornell. Duke is a fantastic school, but haven't seen a lot of students from Duke during recruiting in NY. NYU Stern also places well.

Best of luck.

edit: Thanks for the MS care to explain why I hurt your feelings?
