Unfair discrimination towards undergrads
Why do MBA programs and law schools have Grade Non-Disclosure but undergrads don't? I'd like to be able to barely pass my classes, focus on partying, networking and extracurriculars and be able to land a PE MF or PJT/CVP/EVR/LAZ RX/M&A seat. I'm currently a sophomore at a tier 1 global undergrad (WYD/Oxbridge/LSE) and man, the classes are HARD. I'm barely maintaining a 3.13 GPA.
Why don't undergrad programs have Grade Non-Disclosure? They would absolute BLOW the competing schools out of the water in terms of job placement as 100% of their kiddos will make the 3.5 GPA hurdle for most "high finance" jobs.
I honestly don't get it. They let some washed up MBA loser who was in FP&A or Risk Management slack off and land a guaranteed IBD/PE seat but we undergrads have literally bleed to get an acceptable GPA to get the exact same jobs as some diversity douchebag at a M7 who's background was performing in musicals or saving turtles in Africa?
What in the actual hell?
Also it'd probably stop the Stern autists from literally trying to kill each other so the curve becomes easier.
Yeah grad students really get it easy. On the topic of class difficulty, I transferred from a non target to a target school and classes are so much harder. It is crazy the difference in difficulty. There really is no excuse not to have almost a 4.0 at non targets. Non target classes were so easy in comparison. Congrats on getting into where you are, but I also guarantee if you went down some school ranks, your GPA would be much higher.
Most targets have atrocious grade inflation (compared to mid-high tier schools like state flagships) especially in their bschools
Your average kid at Harvard with a 3.65 would have a 4.0 at their state flagship
Lmao how can you generalize across schools?
