Unique networking situation help
So basically I’ve been in contact with a lead recruiter at a top consulting firm for a long time (think 1yr+), chat with this person from time to time about life, but not sure how I can maintain this relationship/get the most out of this relationship as I’m going into the recruiting season for consulting.
Would love to hear you guys’ take on this and how to make best use of the relationship without appearing as too pushy.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
How'd you get in contact with them? If it was via school, maybe follow up about your plans for the school year / recruiting in the fall?
Ask what it would take to land a position there. Seems like everyone is playing the role they should be playing here.
