Unique Situation as a 1st Year IB Analyst
Hey, I'm in a unique situation, and I'm looking for advice on what I should do. I'm currently a first year analyst in LevFin, and the group is closing a ton of deals, but I'm not learning any modeling. We don't have enough people for all of the deals coming through, so it gets pushed to the coverage groups and this has become norm. I've been going through some on my own, but I know that's not as good as actually constantly plugging away at them. My eventual goal is a credit hf. Any thoughts on what I should do and how much this will hinder me?

Yeah, talk to your staffer. Be tactful about it, as always.
