University Exchange from Australia

I have the opportunity to possibly go on exchange next year. This is the only year we are permitted to go on exchange, and I want to seize the opportunity if it is beneficial.

My background: Math & Stats + Comp Sci double major from Australian 'target' university.

I am not the party type. The sole reason I am interested in overseas exchange is to enhance my credentials and marketability.

My target industry is investment management (specifically, hedge funds). However, I am open to any attractive opportunities, such as those in BB IB.

I am specifically interested in attending UK, US or Canadian schools. From my years of frequenting WSO, I also have a scant idea of what schools may be 'target' and which ones are not. Based on this knowledge, I have compiled the following list:

United Kingdom:

Durham University
University College London
University of Bath
University of Exeter
University of Bristol

United States:

Boston College
Colorado State University
Indiana University
Rice University
University of Arizona
University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign
University of Notre Dame du Lac
University of Texas at Austin
University of Washington

Canada:

McGill University
Queens University
University of Toronto

Given my choices and reasons for going (noted above), do you think it is worth going on exchange?

From looking at the list of possible choices, the following stand out to me:

United Kingdom:

University College London

United States:

UIUC
UT Austin

Canada:

Queens

I ask the WSO community for guidance in deciding my next step.
