University of Rochester vs SUNY New Paltz Undergrad
Currently studying at New Paltz for free. Put out two transfer applications to Vandy and U of R. U of R accepted me for Fall transfer. I am a finance major at New Paltz with a 3.70. Would attending U of R be worth the additional money? Would be a financial economics major at U of R.
**Pros for Transferring **
- Slightly Better name
- More rigorous program, quant focused
- Better alumni network
Cons for Transferring
- Would lose an entire semester of time
- Much harder to make networking trips
- Cost is very high in comparison
