Unsatisfied with FT prospects
I interned at a non-MBB firm this past summer. Had a pretty swell time and got a return but rerecruited because I wanted better opportunities. MBB is objectively better across all domains including salary, exit opps, paying for grad school, etc, all clout and bullshit aside.
Anyway, I didn't get MBB and signed full-time with the same firm. I thought the feeling of failure would go away but it hasn't in 2+ months. Now I'm committed to getting out of this firm as quickly as possible whether it's another consulting role or something entirely outside. Any advice or similar experiences from people unsatisfied with their full-time prospects?
